'98 D, AJ Villella commits to NU. Young Florida kid.. congrats.

RD. Another Floridian. Said to be an exceptional skater.
Expect to see him in the fall of 2018. Should be on Premier league Bruins now, and will be next year.

Very excited and thankful that another NU family has allowed us to share their tickets for Saturday's game with Maine,It will be out first game this year and just another reason I love NU and its fans,I had been out of work for almost 2 yrs so when a fellow fan helped us out it means so much.regardless of who you are,its my opinion that NU fans are the greatest.

Well, we've heard that before...Benning, Schecter, Cockerill, Williams. Even heard that Saucerman was "a right-handed Warsofsky" when he came in. (LOL) How is he in his own end?

Re: Northeastern 2015-16: Hobey Roy Kenobi and the Freshman Force

I think Cockerill is really coming into this own. Some very solid play as of late. I think Williams skates well and love his propensity to dive in the offensive zone. Sauce has one of the hardest shots in all of HE. Benning is very solid, moves the puck well, few TOs..very steady. I think the D is a strength on this team. I can't tell how solid Ruck is as a goalie, because he doesn't face many shots-- the system they have played has really limited and protected him. It's been great to see several periods this year where NU outshot their opponents in a period 20-4.

Of course you are correct. wWe've heard that before, and it's pretty much true - except for the Sauce/Warso fantasy. The coaches wouldn't recruit an "average" skater. I wouldn't matter how good you are if you can't keep up with the game.

Ryan Ruck has progressed through out the season and has putting together a season similar to Brad Thiessen's freshman year. One can only hope
