Haha you like that huh? I created a profile many years and was content to just read. Now I read and react.

That's right, two very convincing Ws. That in contrast to SCSU, who in the last five games lost to CC, a fledgling team similar to MSU (5-17-2) at 51 in the PWR with a record of 5-18-1.

A CC team that is better than their record indicates and would beat both UW and Sparty.

Speculation is not your forte' buddy.;) Did you see the last MSU/Gopher game? They're better than their record indicates.

What i do know is CC is 5-5-1 in their last 11 with most of those on the road.
We overlooked them and paid for it, we are overlooking no one this weekend.
Most of the country accepts the fact that the B1G is a weak conference...you can't...that's fine.
Just don't expect most people to think beating UW and Sparty is a big deal...it's not.

I don't pay much attention to comparing conferences. But the Big Ten does have 50% in the top 20 which is very good and it will improve in coming years as teams improve. What is important to me is how players and teams are performing and when they peak. Losing 5-2 to CC and barely squeaking by UMD which is a team that has really struggled lately winning only 2 games in their last 9, I think raises some concerns for SCSU.

And you'd be wrong.

Why would I be wrong? It's clear SCSU's performance over the last 5 games has not been stellar. Being the passionate/biased fan that you are, you can disagree. But those are the facts.

And are still #2 in the pairwise and swept the gophers at mariucci. But whatever makes you feel better.

Again, with CC, we overlooked them, something that's not happening this weekend.
UMD reminds me a lot of us last year, highly talented team that's having issues scoring, so they've turned to playing good D with a good goalie to get wins.
They locked us down for a game, which happens.
Then we hammered Western and scored 15....issue corrected.

The Gophers have greatly improved since their last meeting. So, if the Gophers can take their recent resurgence into this tourney, I'd like to see a SCSU/Gopher matchup on Sunday for the Cup. I think the Gophers show more potential now to beat SCSU and take home the hardware.

Anyone that thinks SCSU isn't heavy favorite is kidding him or herself.

Anything can happen in rivalry games. Very few expected BSU to take home the trophy last season.

Might want to look a little closer at how UMD has struggled. I'll give you a hint. They are struggling to score goals but they aren't getting blown out.

You have to look at how a team is trending to get a better idea of how any given team is performing now.

The issue is you are looking at our record and coming up with a "trend"....when actually watching the games would show a different conclusion.

Bottom line is they're 2-5-2 in their last 9 games as I pointed out. How they got there is of interest to me.

So you conveniently left out the loss in the first game against Penn State despite the fact that it is just as relevant as their win. You are not good at this.
