North Star Cup 1/30-31 - SCSU, UM, BSU, MSU-M: Who is drinking where?

They do not sell beer at Mariucci. I wish they did, that would liven the place up a bit.

They sell it at TCF, not sure why they don't sell it across the street at Mariucci. dumb
They sell beer (and wine) at UMD's Malosky Stadium now, also.

So for those of us who don't live in Minnesota, any options on watching these games? I'm assuming not but had to ask.

If you find a bar that has the delux Directv sports package they will get FSN. Channel 668.

There are a few bars here in Portland that I've been able to watch the Gopher games at, so I'd have to think there are some where you are.

Very low new"Airfoil" Website engineering since Nike Air Max 90 Black the new problem is made of lightweight material. I have forever Air Max 90 had a new ipod ipod nano(Was any technology, Not too most current) And after that wound up migrating to an innovative Zen. I care about it just above all other player to Nike Air Max 90 White start off with held Nike Air Max Womens usually for the price below your sink expandability,

So can someone explain what the point of something like this is? I assume that the completely garbled crap is supposed to make it look like an ad that will then make a person want to click on one of the links which will then allow the person who clicked on the link to either receive an endless number of e-mails to join porn sites, or will allow the hack access to some of the persons information on his computer? I don't know how a person doesn't fall for this with wonderful phrasing like "usually for the price below your sink expandability".

On another, similar note, I hope to be watching some beavers getting pounded this Saturday!

Each USCHO analyst...ones for the WCHA, BIG and NCHC...all choose their own teams to win out. Should make for a great tourney.

Hittinger picked a WCHA team to win, but Shane Frederick, who I think is the best in the business at covering college hockey (OK, that's my homer bias) picked the Huskies. And Shane has seen all 4 teams this year already. I'm not going to argue with him.

I have lowered expectations. I'd just like to see us score a goal against St. Cloud! And it will also be a good measuring stick for us as we enter the stretch run of the season.

Scoring a goal is a good place to start. Probably going to take 4 to beat them. Play physical and stay out of the box and you have a better shot. UMD did that and managed a tie. Pretty good goalie in Lindgren even if the offense isn't fully on, so even with this being an offensive minded team, still pretty solid defensively.

Looking forward to all games. Didn't know they had moved this to Sat/Sun so made some other plans Saturday afternoon before I figured that out. Will be there on Sunday. Hoping and planning for the Huskies to be in the 4pm game. Not planning to be in good enough shape to make a 1pm game after Saturday night plans...

Agree with your opinion on Shane. He does a great job covering the Mavericks.

But you're sandbagging the game on Saturday. It will be close, but St. Cloud wins by a goal.

Nice article on Chuck in today's St. Paul fish wrap.

Re: North Star Cup 1/30-31 - SCSU, UM, BSU, MSU-M: Who is drinking where?

All 4 teams enter the tourney with winning records over the last 5 games:

Gophers (5-0-0) avg. 5.6 goals/game, GA 6, goal differential +22
MSUM (3-1-1) avg. 4.8 goals/game, GA 7, goal differential +12
SCSU (3-1-1) avg. 4.2 goals/game, GA 12, goal differential +9
BSU (3-1-1) avg. 3 goals/game, GA 5, goal differential +10

Gophers have highest avg. goals/game and goal differential. Gophers and SCSU have each played 1 ranked team over the last five, MSUM and BSU no ranked team over last five. SCSU, MSUM and the Gophers currently lead their respective conferences. This may be the best NSCC tourney yet. I've got the Gophers edging SCSU in a close game on Sunday for the Cup.

Brave of Hittinger to pick a 5-1 win for the Purple Cows. I think Mankato will be the tougher of the two games for St. Cloud. If we get by them, I don't think it matters who we play Sunday, I forsee a win by 3+ goals.

Nope. It's for SEO. I won't get into the boring details, but they're trying to get a website (not necessarily www . nikeairmax90womens . us) to show up in Google for searches pertaining to the Nike Air Max. Grammar is irrelevant and they don't expect you to click through.

Based on grammer I expected a Chinese hack, or something similar. All equally annoying.

Yeah, but....2 of those 5 Gopher games were against the Badgers!

Yeah, but remember the Gophers slaughtered the BADgers in two games on their home ice (13 GF, 2 GA) like no other team the BADgers have faced all season home or away inc. #1 UND.

Re: North Star Cup 1/30-31 - SCSU, UM, BSU, MSU-M: Who is drinking where?

They sell beer for this event. Tickets are sold per day or per tournament package. There is no re-entry after the early game. I like the date and time changes for this. The early game on Friday always had poor attendance. St Cloud definitely looks like the best team on paper and has already swept the other two ranked teams this season. It would be an upset if they did NOT win it.

Re: North Star Cup 1/30-31 - SCSU, UM, BSU, MSU-M: Who is drinking where?

And 2 more were against Sparty.

That's right, two very convincing Ws. That in contrast to SCSU, who in the last five games lost to CC, a fledgling team similar to MSU (5-17-2) at 51 in the PWR with a record of 5-18-1.
