BSU played their best game of the year... they're still below .500 and will lose tonight.

The Gophers may s$$t the bed this weekend and worst still this season, but god **** I hope another MN Div I team takes it all in the NCAAs.

First game was an upset; second one wasn't (per the rankings and Pairwise).

I don't know if I like this tourney it's on par with the Mariucci Classic. Boring.

This has nothing to do with scheduling weaker competition the level of play is the same. I am of the opinion since the breaking away of the old WCHA all Gopher games are like non conference matches. The games are boring.

Mariucci is what I imagine a leafs game is like except not nearly as expensive. Boring crowds who don't cheer or get involved, crap music that's constantly piped in, censoring of the penalty chant, people who look down on those who do cheer and get involved etc. Idk I can't say I ever made it to old Mariucci So maybe it's always been like that but that's not the vibe I get from the older fans.

Honestly thought about canceling my tickets before the year despite how great of a season it was.

Arguably the game @ UND was better played. Also BSU is not nearly as bad as their record. Every opponent BSU has played this year has been ranked at the time except for the last 2 weekends and most still are. Schedule is brutal.

You had a legitimate prediction, but looks like you are wrong. Bemidji State, playing in their first North Star College Cup, are champions. BSU 3 MSU-Mankato 1 Congrats Beavers!

Heck of a weekend for the Beavs. Great hockey.

As for the Mavs, better to get that out now rather than in March.
