He most likely talks smack while he walks by his classmates and his professor but that's way off of reality. UND is known for it's high academic standards for it's student athletes. :rolleyes: He most likely has no idea what a book or a classroom look like.

Hextall is only 11 games into his sophomore season, and he already has more career points than Pauk did if you combine Pauk's so/jr seasons. :)

Kind of like you have no idea about hockey. Hexy is young though, he can still learn. You being like a 57 year old geezer, cannot.

I'm not in a position to comment on the academic rigors faced by UND hockey players, but I can pass along this annecdote: Bill Fitch (who coached the Celtics to an NBA title and took the Rockets to the finals) coached at UND. And he told me his duties included teaching a class attended by the entire Sioux hockey team: ice skating! I'm guessing they did very well in that class. I'm sure academic hankey pankey of that sort is in the distant past.
