Re: North Dakota at UNO - 1-30/1-31 - The biggest series in UNO program history
Guess the RedMavs drew the shiort straw.
They apparently think we hate them on some level. There isn't much basis for doing so. Hell, we have a winning record in
their building if you count our shoot-out win earlier this season up there, which is, right now, looming mighty large in the current standings. IMHO opinion, some of the greatest ever UNO regular season games in UNO history include games with them on 11-19-10 (the greatest UNO home game I have EVER seen and UNO
lost this game) as well as on 11-20-10, which usurped the precious night, as well as games on 12-9-11, and the game earlier this season on 11-28-14 when we, "ahem", tied them in Grand Forks
Better still, there is a significant portion of their fanbase that covets our head coach, which makes it hard for them to have anything but warm fuzzies for us.
They should be grateful that we tolerate their puking in our streets (this is no exaggeration) when they come down here to play us or that we let them subject us to the the worst embarrassment and fiasco in the history of our program, otherwise known as our outdoor game here in 2013 with them.
Thanks to Coach Blais, we seems to be forever tied at the hip to them unless Dave Hakstol "figures it out" and makes UND fan forget Coach Blais on some level, which does not seem terribly likely after 11 seasons
