A Chevy Cavalier.

How fitting, our country has a cavalier attitude towards people who recklessly and without consideration of others cripple and often kill their fellow Americans. It is interesting that we wasted 100’s of billions of dollars seeking retribution because a bunch of nutjobs killed about 5,000 people 13 years ago, yet about 7 times that many people are killed every year by their fellow Americans, in fact just under a half million people have died on our roadways since 9/11.
HALF A F’N MILLION!
The number of injuries is astronomic, you can’t even say a number because it depends on how you define the cutoff line between what is and isn’t an injury.
Most of these “accidents” as they are called are not accidents, a car driving at half the speed limit of residential area speed limits has more force behind it than a deer rifle, some people are just plain stupid and have no regard for others. It is too bad the driver hit her vehicle instead of a tree or telephone pole.

Tragic. Her teammates sound like a great group of support and she'll need them going forward. I wish her a full and speedy recovery.
