Average attendance for the Rangers this year is 1,246. Those would be some butts in the seats. That average is 6th out of the 20 teams in the league.

Yeah, it was. I'm pretty old - remember the UND Feathers in the 70's? I actually was just two years too late for the old barn.

In fact, I can't remember where we made the copies - I think they were mimeographed - sure smelled nice, though.

Yeah, that's how it was when I was at school too. The difference is, no matter how drunk I was, I still made it to the Berry for puck drop (or shortly after). We need to increase the drunkeness of NMU's students and we need to get the party-ers to come to the games before they go to the keggers. Last year me and some friends played bags and beer pong out in the parking lot before the game. It was one of the best times I had during college, and the community members walking by loved seeing us out having fun. People need to do that more.

Their first year here, 3 years ago, they only averaged about 600-800 fans per game. Its safe to say their fanbase is growing.
