MMF I thought they could not post personal information from my file concerning my life! That was funny! Nooks don't need any additional help just need to continue to play hockey with in the current system and have Scott stop all the pucks he suppose to.
Da Boy's will be fine at least they don't have to stay out by Sands anymore at the old Best Western lovely view but the Wind coming off the lake is brutal at best even in March.
Wish our U16 districts were in Marquette rather than San Jose would have been nice to take a Nook / Cat game in this weekend.
FYI to the Moose-Taken person who thought we were in Mich. for the Western series. UAF traveled out Monday from Sqaurebanks. They are use to the travel comes with Life in AK.

Oystrick has won them both, but that happened in back to back years. Not sure is anyone has won them in the same year.
While I enjoy seeing our athletes receive such prestegious honors, I don't like the distraction they cause. I recall a couple NMU guys cleaning Anastos out of hardware at the Fox Theater only to get bounced the next day by UA_ in the quarter finals.
One game at a time. Win on Friday. Ignore the extra curriculars.

Good point Aparch, but I don't think this team is going to be distracted. They seem to be playing right now with their heads in the right place, as they know what's at stake. For the first time in a long time, it really feels to me (as a fan) that this team is destined to make the tournament. It's a great feeling and I'm glad that a lot of the current students/posters who haven't experienced it are able to share this. Perhaps then they'll understand why I am so vocal and get upset when the team isn't playing up to expectations. You should really see all the crap that people leave me on my feedback. 99.9% of them wouldn't say it to my face if they knew me.
A little less than 24 hours and the road to Joe will go through Marquette again!

Are you going to be in Detroit for the Frozen Four? I'm thinking about coming into town in my Wildcats make it to the NCAA's and I'd like "meet up" with you. Maybe I'll even invite you to my company suite so you can watch a practice.

Ive got Michigan over State in three games
and
UNO over Ferris in two games
1. Miami vs 7. Michigan
4. NMU vs. 6. UNO

There has been a ton of promotion done in the area for NMU. TV, Radio, Newspaper, student participation as well...
One note about Ferris, even with all of that promotion, they've not even sold 1,000 tickets!

My mom's a Ferris alum. We lived about 90ish miles away, and never once went down there for anything. She got out and stayed out.
