Re: NMU 2009-2010 Season
Bowling Green is a great way to start the 2nd half CCHA push at home. The Falcons are one of the weaker teams in the CCHA, but by no means are pushovers. If the 'Cats dont execute and compete BGSU can easily win.
From here on out there is no more overlooking teams. Its one weekend, one game at a time. Its time for somebody on offense to step up and become a presence. Im looking at Florek, Brown or Hanson for this role.
Did anyone else find it strange that Olver wasnt on the ice for the last faceoff in OT against Tech? DavyD...any thoughts on this? You seemed surprised too on the radio.
Must win situations are a common theme the last eight years. For the past several years the talent has been there, but the end result never meets expectations. I'll be a loyal fan and support my CATS, but its frustrating not moving into the NCAA post season. Lets hope for a great 2nd half; beginning with Bowling Green this weekend. GO CATS
