Apparently Honey Boo-Boo is a brat

Gee, really? You don't say! Let's see, put a fat hillbilly kid and her half-literate parents on TV and let them act like idiots for multiple years. Nothing could possibly go wrong there, now could it?

I have banned TLC for life in my house as long as I can remember. If I have cable when I have kids, it's going under parental lock. What a pile of **** that channel has become.

I think anyone who watches that trash needs their head examined. With a shovel. Honestly. A few years ago I turned it on just to see the trainwreck. It was horrific.

Every time I surf past that show in the channel guide, my IQ drops by 3 points. I can't imagine actually watching it.

My mother doesn't watch that (thank goodness) but does watch other crap that's on TLC - and then complains that it's on TV. Well, if people like you didn't watch...

Agreed on TLC on all counts. My fiancee wanted to watch some show on there, I warned her, she insisted.....after 15 minutes, she was embarrassed to have even asked in the first place.

Edit: she hasn't had cable in 12 years, hence the curiosity.

I think TLC is like a firearm. If you haven't grown up with channels like that or been exposed to it, you don't realize just how dangerous it is to mind and body.

Hence, trigger, I mean channel locks on all of them and keeping them away from children.

My sister used to watch Trading Spaces, where someone apparently thought it would be a good idea for neighbors to decorate a room in each others' houses. She made us watch that once or twice. One episode the twatwaffle designer thought it would be a good idea to glue hay all over the walls. No, I'm not exaggerating. Yes, you read that correctly. That was the end of that for me.

The Learning Channel is no longer The Learning Channel. A few years ago they officially changed the designation to TLC while at the same time making "a pivot" in their line up away from edyoukayshunnel shows.

Can the history channel change to THC officially because you need to be high to watch that channel anymore

They're disgraceful. Discovery is starting down that road with that absurd "documentary" about the Megalodon still being alive.
