Nice Plant #7: Get me off of this planet

Re: Nice Plant #7: Get me off of this planet

So you think that every shot fired by he cop was balls on accurate an e didn't miss a single shot? Did you even see the location of the shots? There were a few on he inner arm which could have been hit from the backside, but Baden couldn't say for sure. The body was laid out palms up and so yeah every shot was in he front, but people do 't run palms out In the position he body was laid out.

I didn't say he missed or didn't miss. The shots that hit were from the front. And when people are dying and falling whilst dying, they can just about land any which way, because they no longer have complete control of their body. Again, science. Also again, neither of us know the actual context of the situation yet.

Re: Nice Plant #7: Get me off of this planet

Also, these are people who are required to fire what? Hundreds of shots a year on the range?

I would hope they could hit someone from under 35 feet with 90%+ accuracy.

The direction of the palms is meaningless.

If you are ragdoll falling you could fall face down or up with your palms in either direction

It matters if the shots to inner arm could've possibly been the outer part of back of your arm while running away. It doesn't really matter though because even if he missed while Brown was fleeing that would still be a problem for he officer.

Also when talking about the body position we're talking about the position in which the coroner laid it. Not how it landed on the pavement.

Re: Nice Plant #7: Get me off of this planet

You have to be kidding me. There is no way you can be this ignorant.

I'm not saying that the cop's shooting was justified (I don't know all the facts about the situation yet, no one does), but when the bullets are not entering the back of the body, that can only mean he was not fleeing. Period. Science.

Sure he can. He's called me a racist for pointing out that "Big Mike" was probably not a candidate for the Ralph Bunche award. He has speculated ridiculously about some ID card scenario which would ameliorate the "Gentle Giant's" behavior in that convenience store. And now, he's an expert on gun shot wounds. He's got nothing on Monty Python's black knight.

Re: Nice Plant #7: Get me off of this planet

I really don't think he was fleeing.
The gunshots are just too linear for him to have been shot in two separate bursts b

Once cable started going digital, they were too dangerous to own. Satellite had them too, and the companies would randomly send out "burn" signals and would fry the pirate satellite cards. Happened to a buddy of mine (for real, I never had satellite).

It's a great read. DirecTV performed "Black Sunday" one week prior to one of the largest TV event of the year, the 2001 Super Bowl.

"One of the original smart cards, entitled 'H' cards for Hughes, had design flaws which were discovered by the hacking community. These flaws enabled the extremely bright hacking community to reverse engineer their design, and to create smart card writers. The writers enabled the hackers to read and write to the smart card, and allowed them to change their subscription model to receive all the channels.
Four months ago, however, DirecTV began sending several updates at a time, breaking their pattern. While the hacking community was able to bypass these batches, they did not understand the reasoning behind them. Never before had DirecTV sent 4 and 5 updates at a time, yet alone send these batches every week. Many postulated they were simply trying to annoy the community into submission. The updates contained useless pieces of computer code that were then required to be present on the card in order to receive the transmission. The hacking community accommodated this in their software, applying these updates in their hacking software.
Last Sunday night, at 8:30 pm est, DirecTV fired their new gun. One week before the Super Bowl, DirecTV launched a series of attacks against the hackers of their product. DirecTV sent programmatic code in the stream, using their new dynamic code ally, that hunted down hacked smart cards and destroyed them. The IRC DirecTV channels overflowed with thousands of people who had lost the ability to watch their stolen TV. The hacking community by and large lost not only their ability to watch TV, but the cards themselves were likely permanently destroyed. Some estimate that in one evening, 100,000 smart cards were destroyed, removing 98% of the hacking communities' ability to steal their signal. To add a little pizzazz to the operation, DirecTV personally "signed" the anti-hacker attack. The first 8 computer bytes of all hacked cards were rewritten to read "GAME OVER".

I am pretty sure he wasn't fleeing. I'm really interested in how he was facing the officer in question. Was he like the SLC guy? Was he standing still? Was he mouthing off and/or threatening the officer? Was he peaceful and wanting to give himself up?

The shots fired are on record, and in the books as entering from the front. Period. If you argue that, than IMO you have one less brain cell than a rock.

:D

And the cable companies would flash ads that said the first x-amount of callers would win a prize. Anyone with a black box call in? Guess what? The companies knew you weren't a legit customer, and fry your cable. :D

Re: Nice Plant #7: Get me off of this planet

There are also witnesses who have not talked to the media. Also, as I recall, there is only one shot (grazed his arm) where you can't tell if it was shot from in front, or from behind.

How are you pretty sure he wasn't fleeing when multiple accounts state that he was?

As far as the autopsy, even Baden wouldn't co plety rule out that possibility and he is likely smarter than a rock.

Multiple accounts. Eye-witness accounts that vary widely, and are far from proven, and have no scientific method behind those accounts. Add to that, eye-witness accounts are unreliable in many cases. Ever hear of a game called "Telephone"?

Piaget said that Wilson fired while Brown was running away too. Nothing about an orbital fracture. The only ones claiming the orbital fracture are coming from unnamed sources and the friend of his wife. If he really had an orbital fracture they likely would have come out with it much sooner during he smear operation. None of this means it for sure didn't happen but it seems unlikely. Wilson better come up with a **** good reason if he fired while Brown was fleeing

I give up. You have zero interest in discussing this honestly. I couldn't care less about the eye injury and there are as I said at least two accounts that dispute the claim he was shot at while fleeing. Use your head. Do you honestly believe the cop fired at his back, missed, and Harris decided to turn around and charge the cop?

If the nytimes article is correct then law enforcement said the same thug as well.

On the other hand, he made my day.

1. I feel much smarter now.
2. The comedy has been gold.

There are several puzzling aspects to this case. All of which may be cleared up as time goes on. Mark O'Meara was questioning why Wilson doesn't have a lawyer (the "Gentle Giant's" parents have a least 3) out there countering the jury pool poisoning speculation about his client. People can say anything they want to the media. However, lying to the cops, filing a false report, is a crime. One assumes all of the witnesses who've made a living condemning Wilson on TV the last several days, plus others who may offer a different view, have been interviewed. Probably by both the cops and the FBI.

It took a while for the photos of George Zimmerman looking like he'd been dropped off the back of a truck to emerge (at least one network, ABC, tried its level best to minimize his injuries by altering the images). If "Big Mike" slugged Wilson in the face, the swelling and discoloration would have showed up the next day, most likely. Photos of Wilson with a huge shiner, not to mention any forensics that put Brown in the car and grabbing the gun, will go a long way toward defusing this situation. Notwithstanding the posturing by the race hustlers. Some of whom, of course, have significant financial motivation to maintain the mythology.

Who are the sources? Wilson's wife's friend? And the unnamed one? I have no idea if he charged the cop like a rhino as very one else seems to think but it becomes irrelevant if he shot at Brown when he was fleeing which seems like a decent possibility.

I don't necessarily think he charged the cop like a rhino. I DON'T KNOW. NEITHER DO YOU. Pretty simple. Based on FACTS, the shots were fired into the FRONT of the body. That's not fleeing. Again...SCIENCE. The rest of the context of the situation is up for debate. And I'll choose to wait before supporting the cop, or Brown.

He might have missed a shot genius. How difficult is that to comprehend?

He might have. That is irrelevant. The shots that HIT were from the front. You seem to be able to not admit that. That is NOT fleeing. That is facing the officer. Pretty blatant fact.
