Nice Planet, Part 2: A-holes on parade

Re: Nice Planet, Part 2: A-holes on parade

Have to vent here.

One of my friend's sons is 12 years old and he is being treated for Hodgkin's Lymphoma. He's staying at the Ronald McDonald House during his treatments and some jackwagon stole a ton of DVDs that all the kids watched. Ticked me off to no end. So his mom and a few friends are getting a collection of DVDs to donate. Still hate people that steal from sick kids.

That useless, Commie loving pos Ted Turner tells that other useless pos Piers Morgan that it's a GOOD thing American GI's are killing themselves.

It's almost grotesquely funny, he looks so senile and out of it. Disgusting when taken out of context, but I'd prefer to hear a little more of that clip. That said, I wouldn't put the guy who donated $2 billion to the UN past such a stupid quote.

Sweet! Boeing successfully tests missile designed to destroy an enemy's electronics, without major collateral damage.

"Mustafa, my Kindle just exploded!"

Cool stuff, though I have to question it's possible use against citizen targets in an era when computers are so common that system downtime is an accepted fact of life.

Hmmmm.... would think it would be simpler to just mount the EMP jammer stuff on a UAV. Then we can use it multiple times, to fry more targets. Would be a fun feeling to come up across some convoy of trucks near some known terrorist training camp and then pick off the trucks, just far enough away from either the camp or other civiliation is bit of a risky hike for em if they don't have enough water on hand. ;)

Boeing's track record of the decades suggests to me they didn't just think up this weapon out of thin air. That it's something DOD wants. Full disclosure: in the AF, I spent about a year at Hill, AFB and we customarily ate lunch in the cafeteria of the Boesing missle factory conveniently located on the base. Despite my snark, I'm pretty sure Abdul's PC is not the intended target here.

As to Turner, I'm not prepared to give the benefit of the doubt to anyone who uses the word "good" in any context, to desribe the suicide rate among GI's. Ever.

That would be another way I guess. UAV's are much slower, however, perhaps the feeling it we need to be able to attack much quicker in real time.

There is that, but I'm just thinking of the fun one could have with messing with those terrorist fellas heads when they're out in the boondocks somewhere with little to no cover, their **** near unkillable truck isn't starting, and they're facing a long walk for the next couple of hours with a red laser dot following them the whole way would really mess with them. Maybe make that new recruit there that's kind of gun ho about the idea of the 72 virgins think its not quite worth it and goes back to his farm and his goats.

All good. One of the earliest known uses of Hellfires from drones came with the killing of a high ranking AQ operative named Mohammed Atef (sp). The Predator blew the h*ll out of his house then climbed to a higher altitude and watched. And when other AQ types showed up, digging around in the rubble, we hit 'em again! Now boys, you all get the virgins.

Yeah, but I kind of like the Mindscrewjob you have with just leaving them alone, but just having that red laser pointer following them. They all know now that Death can come from above from a UAV, and there isn't much they can do about that, but to have them out in the open, where that thing could finish them off and make em Martyrs, where they get 72 virgins, but instead they just follow them with the idea that there's some guy out there in the world just watching them slog along in the heat, cold or other elements out there that's in a comfy little office just watching them while sipping on some coffee and has his finger on the trigger. Just let those idiots sit down and think about that for a while, see how much more their efforts to killing infidels are doubled, and how much worse their recruitment drives would be when AQ rolls up on a town, and instead of saying that the Infidels killed their friend Abu, that they just fried his truck and watched him walk back to town. I just don't see that whole, "made Abu walk back to town while watching him" selling the kids on the idea of Jihad as much as what killing Abu would be.

I would guess that one of those will have Mahmoud's name on it, delivered to his nuclear weapons plant.

It would depend on how well shielded it is. I thought Iran has supposedly built most of their Nuke sights underground just so that they could keep em hidden. I don't think Microwaves would really have the penetrating power in them to really fry a plant making all sorts of Nukes its all say, 20 feet underground.

That would call for another tool. The 30,000 pound Massive Ordinance Penetrator. A precision, satellite guided weapon that can be carried by a B-2. Actually, each retro-fitted B-2 can carry two of those bad boys. We have announced (and I have posted) that the weapon is operational. Man, you don't want to be in the break room at Natanz when one of those guys hits. Spoil your whole lunch.

Seems a little strange to use the word "precision" in the same sentence with "30,000 bomb" doesn't it?

A little more than your lunch man. More like your whole day.
