Once you get past the rhetoric...This is what happens when dumb people are in charge. Do they not understand what would happen if they went through with this?
This wouldn't require existing structures to be demolished, it would simply allow for apartments and other multi family buildings to get built in areas where they're currently not allowed.
I have no idea if Seattle is already landlocked by its burbs or not, but if it is, then this isn't necessarily a horrible plan, considering new single family homes will continue to get built in the burbs and Seattle's core can continue to expand too.
