Suicide? Running car, small enclosed space, just fall asleep. IMO that's the "best" way to go.
Make sure it's an old car, takes a long time to off yourself that way with a new car

So in other words you want enough privacy in your back yard that you could take a leak off your back porch if you wanted too.Not my sole concern was my point.
We spend a ton of time in our backyard including eating out there every meal that's possible. We have a pool and a deck. We chose our house partly because of the backyard and the understanding that it will remain bordered by other single family homes.
Had our realtor taken us to a home bordered by apartments, we would have simply said, "Next!" And left.
Whereas you can't really screw up with a heavy-caliber rifle to the temple
When I get terminal cancer, I'm moving to Oregon. I hear secobarbital is a helluva drug.
That might be the longest tl;dr on the internet.
Believe it or not, people do survive self inflicted gunshot wounds to the head. I have seen a few and they are always very unfortunate cases.
In high school, a kid in my class used a shotgun. It would take some really horrible luck to get it wrong with a shotgun. His luck was not horrible that day.I know they do, and theoretically could even with a heavy caliber if you don't take the 'proper' angle. But I'm always astounded by the number of people that that use a .22 or similar for anything bigger than a squirrel (small rimfires are commonplace and I guess that's why they're often used in the commission of crimes). I guess they must figure, a rifle is a rifle - it should do the trick. No. That thing is a peashooter.

Knew two. One was shotgun, other was hanging. The latter was officially "sexual asphyxiation" gone wrong, but those who knew him knew better.
It was buried all the way down in the seventh paragraph:Nowhere in the article does it say anything about 2/3 (unless you're referring to a video that happens to be there; Flash is blocked on this browser and I don't feel like overriding it at this time). And it specifically states getting rid of the single-family zoning and replacing it with multi-family. Probably not in one fell swoop, but rather annexing it gradually. Also, according to this committee, it looks like you're a racist if you have single-family property. That's how they're trying to justify this one.![]()
Then the next paragraph says,Some of the challenges the city faces includes almost two-thirds of the urban land being restricted to single-family homes, the letter continues. The letter considers increasing density almost everywhere in the city, the Times reports.
The author is the one positing that they will get rid of the single-family zoning. There is no quote from a Seattle official to that effect. They are saying that limiting zoning to only single-family homes limits what people can do and how many people can live in a given area. With a 19-3 vote, the committee recommends replacing single-family zoning with zoning that would allow for more multi-unit buildings, according to the Times.
Later, the committee co-chairs issued a statement saying the group “has no intention of recommending the elimination of all single family zones in the city.” But the draft report suggests the committee was considering exactly that.
“In fact, (the committee) recommends we abandon the term ‘single family zone,’ ” the draft reads.
An overview letter calls for higher density essentially everywhere in the city.
“More 6-story buildings where there were 4 stories before, more 7-story buildings where there were 6-stories before, and more multifamily housing of all types in areas currently zoned for less density inside (neighborhoods designated as) Urban Villages,” the letter says.
The draft says the changes are necessary because “we are currently confronted by the reality of more dollars chasing a limited supply of housing than ever before in our history.”

It's fascinating to drop into the middle of this and hear the enormous amount of assumed conspiratorial background. The real "world behind the world" is the mass of millions of people who follow this stuff. High Weirdness is alive and well.
