And before any of you get your panties in a bundle, I'd do the same to any religious idol that gets this much special treatment. :p

I'll kick in with the tomatos and mayo. You may have missed it but there was a case in Florida a couple of years ago where an idiot muslim woman wanted to avoid having to take off her veil for her drivers license. A judge actually heard this nonsense (naturally, she had a lawyer :mad: ).

The state even offered to have her photo taken in a private area by women.
Nope. Dear, it sort of makes the photo useless if we can't see your face. Here's your choice: take off the veil or get out your thumb.

BTW, you're no reactionary. You're just wondering why a tiny group of extremists is using implicit (and sometimes explicit) threats of violence to force the rest of us into silence about their agenda. And why so many entities normally champions of free speech are aiding them. To my knowledge, the only newspaper to print the "offending" cartoons remains the Philadelphia Enquirer. All of the other journals took a pass. For shame.

If you're going to do a religious reference, you should probably get the right one. Cows are sacred to Hindu.

Probably because they weren't very bright in the first place. There's obviously an absence of common sense between their ears.
