Funny thing on this whole "local" kerfuffle is that I wasn't responding to Priceless using the word "local." I used it in response to something SJH said.

Looks like the prosecutor may have learned from the Wilson case. He's pressing charges on a policeman who struck a citizen on the hand with his baton.

It's merely a coincidence that this cop is black. Or that he isn't raising money for the cop.

Or that this prosecutor's father wasn't a white cop killed by a black man.

So every time a prosecutor presses charges against a black person after failing to get an indictment against a white person, they're racist?

We have a lot racist prosecutors in this country then...

"every time"? No, just this time. And I'm not saying he's a racist. I'm saying it is strange that it is a black cop, but I also pointed out that he isn't trying to raise money for this cop either.

The "every time" is a nice touch by you though.

The only reason to bring up skin color in this case is to imply racism.

Thanks. It's too bad hyperbole is never used around here, otherwise you might have recognized it...
