Nice Planet #8: You People Make Me Sick.

Re: Nice Planet #8: You People Make Me Sick.

One of the comments that I heard on MSNBC last night, and I don't recall who made it, related to all of the people who were traveling to Ferguson just to cause problems. This reporter mentioned that when you look around you see all of these out of state license plates. "For example, I've seen a lot of plates from Illinois."

Isn't East St. Louis in Illinois? Isn't Ferguson like a mile and a half from the Illinois border?

Re: Nice Planet #8: You People Make Me Sick.

Of course, NOW the eye-witnesses are credible sources of information :p

Naturally.

Never mind that most were wearing masks so they couldn't be identified. Or the fact that I will be 41 next month and on my way into the casino today I was carded (what can I say, I look young!) so just going by size/appearance of the looters isn't going to be accurate. But yes, eye witnesses were completely unreliable when they didn't support his theory, but are infallible now.

How would anyone at that "network" even know?

And speaking of the media, no bias here.....

That wouldn't be "local."

If you are from one block outside of Ferguson in any direction, you aren't "local."

Google Maps says 9 miles.

Re: Nice Planet #8: You People Make Me Sick.

East St. Louis is like the worst/abandoned parts of Detroit, Flint, and Saginaw all in one neat little package.

How do you know that most were wearing masks? In the footage that I was watching, I would say that most weren't wearing masks.

As to your other "points"

Cop says it went down one way. Some local eye-witnesses support his story with their testimony. Autopsy supports the cop's story. Common sense supports cop's story (that he didn't execute a kid in the middle of the street in front of witnesses).

The "victim's" buddy says it went down a different way and a few other locals say so too.

Tough call.

Because I was watching Al-Jazeera, which actually had a reporter on the scene. He was in the parking lot of one of the burning buildings. He said that every person he saw was wearing some kind of mask, either to hide their identity or filter the expected tear gas - or both.

Whatever though. Clearly you've made up your mind (No question!) so there really isn't any point in discussing this further.

And the NY Post runs "Streets of Rage" with burning cars to feed its audience. Race-baiting: fun for the whole family, left and right!

Hey, the elevator level on that game was awesome. And that soundtrack was legendary, WAY ahead of its time. ;)

"Burn this b*tch down." Check

"Burn it down for Michael Brown" Check

Re: Nice Planet #8: You People Make Me Sick.

Yep.

According to reporters who were witnessing the looting, the majority were teenagers.

Of course they came from Chicago, Memphis and other places having made arrangements ahead of time to travel to Ferguson so they could start trouble. Right?

Couldn't possibly be crimes of opportunity could they? That never happens, right?

I love how some berate people for listening and parroting the Faux talking points while hungrily consuming the lefty ones.

Were the LA rioters also from out of town while the locals were all choirboys?

In his late night news conference last night, Captain Johnson said (paraphrasing): We did this to ourselves. Last summer there were a lot of out of towners. But not tonight.

Re: Nice Planet #8: You People Make Me Sick.

Here's an idea to pump the riots up. We need them at a higher level.

Rep. Peter King has a suggestion for the White House in dealing with the latest developments in Ferguson – invite Officer Darren Wilson over.

“I think it would be very helpful if President Obama went and met with the police officer, or invited him to the White House and said, ‘You’ve gone through four months of smear and slander, and the least we can do is tell you that it’s unfortunate that it happened and thank you for doing your job,’” the New York Republican told Fox Business on Tuesday.

The autopsy supports the cop's story if you want it to.

But do they have great football teams. All time record: 738-131, 7 state titles. A few years ago their starting backfield, QB, RB, RB, WR comprised the state record setting 4X100 meter relay team! Speed really killed.
