Would we have to wait 'till some cops were shot before they'd be allowed to respond? Let's review: rioting, arson, looting and random shootings are not protected "speech."

But if they do that, they get accused of not caring about black people (not you). They're ****ed if they do, ****ed if they don't.

AJ is making the distinction between the looters and the protesters. The protesters are marching, holding hands a massive throng of people. Then there are the vandals at the police station, Walgreen's and the rest. And then there are people in front of the police station just watching everything unfold. Umm...I think I'd just as soon watch on TV thanks.

Someone is going to die on live television.

I never want to see that ever again. I was watching the luge practice live stream when the luger died a number of years ago.

And I was watching when Jack Ruby blew Oswald's guts out. And there was a Russian diver years ago who killed himself by hitting his head on the platform on the way down.

On AJ it looks like there is a police car leading the protesters through the street. Looks like a parade.

Of course people rioting, looting, etc. are not protected and should be dealt with. I NEVER SAID THEY SHOULDN'T. But, at the beginning, people in front of a police station need not be met with police in riot gear.

The politicians and the police leaders expected violence and violence is what they got.

They're saying that some protesters are following orders and being peaceful, and all is cool there. There are small pockets of morons, though, away from the peaceful protesters.

History repeats itself. Given the previous riots, better to be prepared.

And Dr. Pio and I were watching the Bears play the Lions years ago when that Detroit wide out died right on the field (ruptured aorta?).

There are about four buildings still burning and both cnn and Fox have had live shots of multiple hails of gunfire.
