I never said everyone had them. I thought it was pretty clear that if two people, that belong to the same group, have them, then it's not out of the question that others do too.

I don't think the police are over-reacting, I think that they got placed in a crappy situation by the DA and politicians.

Anderson Cooper just said it was a good scene to see the FD putting out the blaze at the burned out shell of Little Caesar's. Moron. Looks like 100% loss to me.

I have to salute these firefighters. Going into a scene to fight a fire where there are people who are beyond rage, gunfire coming from all over, and a completely uncontrolled scene.

And that's understandable, it wouldn't be out of the question. But it's the fear and assumption of the worst in everyone by people that is a cause in this. You, an already angry person, see police officers, whom you have a large degree of distrust, dressed in riot gear, basically ready for battle, you're gonna react accordingly. I can understand having police in riot gear held in reserve, ready to go, but to have them front and center even before the announcement was wrong.
