I thought it was smoke bombs.

And that isn't quite what I said. Tear gas or pepper spray was certainly used on white kids at Berkeley a few years ago.

BS, you said that people were arrested with pipe bombs and said that police have to protect themselves because there will be others. I understand that police officers have to protect themselves. What I don't like is the broad brushstokes being used. That because a few people were arrested with pipe bombs then everyone has one, that because some people are rioting and setting fires then everyone is.

i was expecting too much when i thought the morons in the street could at least listen to mccullough but then i realized he was probably using too many big words for them

What's really missing here is some sort of commentary from some sort of police public affairs type. Nada. Zilch. Maybe they don't want to speak publicly. Maybe CNN and MSNBC want to keep their decks clear for Malick Shabazz. Still, we could use a little perspective.
