Sheesh. This link on the page of this story is appalling.

Kudos to the ChiTrib for not ducking this story.

Your heart goes out to this poor woman. She's lost a 14-year old son. For nothing. This senseless slaughter goes on in our cities every single day. We don't seem to be able to do anything about it. Most of us aren't even willing to talk about it.

Stupid 9-1-1 call of the week

An Oregon man actually called 911 recently because he couldn’t get his wife’s zipper unstuck.

The audio of the call was made available through Washington County’s “You Called 911 For That?”campaign, an effort to dissuade people from using the emergency hotline for frivolous reasons.

“911, Police Fire and Medical,” the operator said.

“Yeah we got a problem here. My wife is struggling in her jacket and can’t get it off. I want 911 here immediately,” the Oregon man said.

“Is she not breathing?” the operator asked.

“She’s alright! She just can’t get her fu**ing jacket off!” the man raged.

Michael Dunn, the "loud music" shooter in Florida, found guilty on three counts of attempted murder, and a hung jury on the actual second degree murder charge.

CNN struggled mightily to make this into another Martin/Zimmerman dustup (they even had Martin family lawyer Benjamin Crump on after the verdict for his customary racist comments). It wasn't. Dunn was looking for trouble. Confronted these kids in the parking lot of a gas station about their loud music. Then confronted them again when they smarted off to him (according to his testimony). Then claimed (much, much, later) that they had displayed a weapon. Then fired 10 times. Three of those shots as the kids' vehicle was leaving the scene. He then failed to wait for or call the police. I'm afraid the dominant thought in his mind was not taking any sh*t from smart mouth n-words. He'll spend a long time in prison, where he deserves to be, despite the jury's inexplicable non-decision on the murder charge.

Another "dangerous thug" busted in Chicago.
http://hotair.com/archives/2014/02/...ld-for-voluntarily-turning-in-broken-toy-gun/

At Fredrick Funston Elementary School, children are searched when they arrive for classes in the morning. One student remembered at that last moment that he had a toy gun in his pocket from the night before and attempted to turn it in to the security officials conducting the searches. Things went downhill from there.

Just to show that the tin foil hat crowd goes both ways.

http://www.theminorityreportblog.co...state-trooper-exposes-cover-up-is-threatened/

Former Florida state trooper Woolfgang Halbig does not believe that ANYONE was killed at the Sandy Hook gun confiscation hoax and has done the research to prove it. Not only does he believe that no one was killed there but he has ALSO been threatened for exposing this horribly played out hoax.

Re: Nice Planet 6: Get Me Off This Planet.

Chicago's 2nd congressional district: a petri dish of corruption. Former congressman Mel Reynolds who resigned in disgrace, went to prison on child sexual abuse charges (convicted of additional corruption charges in prison) and was pardoned by Clinton has been arrested, again. He had announced as a candidate to replace JJjr, who, of course, resigned and was sent to prison. Don't the poor devils who live in that district deserve better? Isn't there anyone who can stand up to these self-serving cheese balls?
