I think it would be a helluva lot easier, and cheaper to just get a press from Cabelas, and start reloading. :p

Either one would work. With the CAD tool, you can also build the magazine. You saw the video of the guy that built the 30-round AR-15 magazine, yes? He brought it into the Prison Planet broadcast station as a show and tell (obviously wasn't going to fire it in the studio; that's what the range video was for).

We're bringing in 11 million illegals, but want to throw out a family of eight for wanting to home school... http://radio.foxnews.com/toddstarnes/top-stories/why-does-obama-want-to-deport-this-family.html
Seems to me here that their problem is that they came here seeking political asylum. Had they just gone thru all the hoops to just immigrate to the US, would they have a leg to stand on to deport them back to Germany??

Re: Nice Planet 3: I Can't Believe I Share A Planet With THESE People!

Hmm, sure would have been nice for those 14 people if someone was able to carry around there. Guns save lives.

Guns save lives.

Ok...some of the snark here is intentional but at the same time I'm boggled by this line of thinking. I hear people say "guns kill people" then others respond back "guns dont kill people, people kill people." Now you say "guns save lives." To which I'm sure others would reply "guns dont save lives, people save lives." Seems to me that by all this logic that guns either kill and save, or guns dont kill and dont save. I think its ridiculous to say they can do one but not the other.

There mere presence of a gun can save a life by discouraging a would be assailant. The mere presence of a gun cannot, by itself, kill someone.

The mere presence of a gun can't, by itself, save someone either.
If I point a gun at you (or you are just aware of the fact I have/could have a gun), it's possible that you will decide not to harm someone, saving them, but it will not kill you unless I pull the trigger. It's a small difference, but a difference, none the less...;)

Its in response to people that think guns are the problem not people. If the gun control idiots agree that guns don't kill people, I'm happy to say that they don't save people. Guns aren't the problem.

I still disagree with the saying/premise. Perhaps a better thing to say would be "guns MIGHT save lives." But I will also admit that I'm in the "more guns is not the answer" camp...but that doesnt mean Im in the "less guns is not the answer" camp either.

I'm leaving it at that simply because I don't have the patience or the desire to maintain any kind of debate (no matter what the topic) on an internet message board....a few posts is about all I can stand.

Or they just decide to off you first. A gun can only be a deterrent if it's visible and it's only a deterrent if the one about to do the shooting isn't committed enough to just mow you down first. You're not going into the situation prepared to draw your gun and fire, they are, you're either dead/injured/extremely ****ing lucky.

At best a gun there would have stopped the guy from stabbing more people, at worse he would have kept going and the person with the gun may have shot someone innocent in an attempt to stop the nutcase. So you go from lacerations to gun shot wounds or deaths not even caused by the attacker.

Guns save lives is an oversimplified platitude parroted by simpletons. It is possible for a gun to save lives but there's an equal possibility that they will escalate the situation and make it infinitely worse.
