Retired Army 2-star, Russel Honore (remember him in New Orleans? "Put those GD rifles down!") suggests the National Guard might be a solution to Chicago's gun violence. 'Course they would be armed with "assault" weapons.

Yes. I wouldn't consider it an obsession, though. At least not on the same level with yours as regards my posts. It's not like the whole country isn't talking about the violence in Chicago. Violence which drew both POTUS and Mrs. POTUS in recent days.

I looked it up and there appear to be a bunch of US cities with higher gun homicide rates. What's so special about Chicago?

I think it's the fact that Chi-town's gun laws plus the homicide rate = major flaws in the "no guns" argument.
I looked it up and there appear to be a bunch of US cities with higher gun homicide rates. What's so special about Chicago?
