I admit it. Had to look that one up.


You can advance anything you want, but you'd have more credibility if you cited examples beyond just Chicago.

Oh, I get it now!! Old Pio wants em to do something about all the crooks having cheap *** Saturday Night Specials instead of bellyaching about morons jumping thru a dozen different hoops in order to buy military style "assault weapons". Just had to dumb it down a little for the rest of the class Old Pio.

Sesquepedalian words have a tendency to sidestep that directive.



PS just hope he doesn't start quoting Thorsten Veblen word for word. Anyone else ever have to read The Theory of the Leisure Class in school? yikes. It was hailed as a ground-breaking work, which I suppose it was, though its main purpose does seem to be to increase dictionary sales.

Pio's obession with gangbangers in Chicago began shortly after Obama went out of the way to inject his opinions into the Trayvon Martin case. He began posting examples of black-on-black violence in Chicago that the President did not comment on, implying the President was being a racist hypocrite.

I unintentionally demoted him to 2-stars. My lasting memory of him was that incident where some National Guardsmen came rolling on the scene with rifles up, like they were in Beirut, and Honore yelling at them to
"put those GD rifles down." Here's the deal. When a 3-star yells at you at the top of his lungs, telling you to do something, you do it. Right freakin' now.

Add to that the hypocrisy he (and many others) are showing with their advocacy of bans on "assault" weapons. Practically none of the black victims of inner city gun violence (including innocent little kids and their grand parents) are shot by "assault" weapons. Hidaya Pendleton was gunned down days after performing at the president's inauguration. Her death drew both Mr. and Mrs. Obama to Chicago. Yet this high achieving young lady was not shot with an "assault" weapon. She was, sadly, just another innocent "in the wrong place at the wrong time" when an urban animal began pulling the trigger.
