So, I'm curious... If I were to visit MD and want to have a beer, do I need to be printed too

This will be great for tourism... I can see it now!

Wow -- I believe the term is "draconian."

Not much better here in PA, where I could be busted for bringing a bottle of wine/liquor/beer back from an out of state visit.

Pennsylvania is the only state where I've seen someone get asked to remove their baseball cap at a sports bar. Excuse me, sports LOUNGE.

Not to mention people doing Bible study at 10:30 on a Thursday night at BW3.

/Latrobe is funny

You can bring it into NYS, but technically you must pay sales/use tax on it.

In "The Olde Days," service personnel flying in uniform were charged half price for standby and 2/3 for a reserved seat. And since the load factors weren't anything like they are today, usually the half price ticket would get you on the plane. Once there, GIs in uniform would be moved to First.

Former Detroit mayor Kwame Kilpatrick convicted on nearly all racketeering counts.

The world will be a marginally better place with his corrupt a*s in prison.

I can't buy soda by the gallon anymore? Judge halts New York City's ban on large sugary drinks calling the ban 'arbitrary and capricious

While the "policy" (thankfully) does not exist and this should never have happened, I don't care for her attention-seeking attitude. She should've done what they told her to do, and then confirmed the lack of such a policy and filed a complaint with the airline later. Proper soldiers should not make a scene out of their service.

In the early days, before TSA began harassing passengers, there was the story of the young Special Forces officer in uniform with a jaw broken in combat. He approached the flight crew with the little set of pocket wire cutters he'd need to clip the wires holding his jaw set if he became airsick--so he wouldn't drown in vomit. He wanted them to hold the cutters and return them to him once they landed. He was not permitted to fly. Purple Heart, Silver Star, Special Forces, Officer, in uniform--not permitted to fly with those lethal wire cutters (even if they were in the hands of the flight crew). He didn't complain. But after getting off the plane he made numerous media calls to let his countrymen know how well that airline was treating our fighting men.

Then there was the time former South Dakota governor Joe Foss was not allowed to board a flight. He was carrying a "dangerous" object. Specifically, the Medal of Honor he earned as a fighter ace in WWII. I guess those Bolivians working security had never seen or heard of a MOH. They probably thought the old boy was going to use it as a ninja throwing star.

Supreme Court Judge Milton Tingling slapped Nanny B. upside the head.

The simple reading of the rule leads to the earlier acknowledged uneven enforcement even within a particular city block, much less the city as a whole....the loopholes in this rule effectively defeat the state purpose of the rule.

In his ruling, Judge Tingling found the Board of Health's mission is to protect New Yorkers by providing regulations that prevent and protect against diseases. Those powers, he argued, don't include the authority to "limit or ban a legal item under the guise of 'controlling chronic disease.' "

If the judge's wife sat in your lap, would you feel a tingling on your leg?

Well, at least he didn't hit on the girls on his team.

A Washington high school softball coach has resigned after allegations he was using his players to help him find women to date by sending them on a "cute girl" scavenger hunt.

25-year-old Troy Hennum is accused of asking some of the girls on the team he coached at Seattle's Roosevelt High School to find “cute girls,” take their pictures and bring their phone numbers to him.

Kwame is big enough to be a Bubba there in Milan. I would think his bigger worry there would being somebody famous in prison, that somebody would want to make a name for themselves in the joint by taking him on or out.
