I think the wild, hyperbolic accusations about Obama are more about partisan knuckle dragging than they are about race. Maybe it's about race for the select few, but that's (I hope) rare.

Seems to me that this dude with a ****ty Prince Valiant haircut is simply playing the other side of that same idiotic coin. At least he's not diddling kids (that we know of), I guess.

I thought about posting that one, but it seemed so stupid, from multiple perspectives, that I passed. I'm glad you did. I'd imagine the chances of him being convicted of the top charge are approximately zero. That doesn't, however, make him father of the year.

So it turns out the Miami face chewer WASN'T under the influence of "bath salts" after all. I'm guessing the vast majority of Americans had never heard of "bath salts." And when a police union dude speculated it was the cause of the behavior, most of us (myself included) said to ourselves: "Well, that explains it, he was on "bath salts." Only he wasn't. Proving once again that a little knowledge can be a dangerous thing.

Ahh, lovely Dearborn, where seldom is heard a discouraging word (against Islam). And if there is, the appropriate response for Islamothugs is to riot. And for balless police to let them do it. I love Islamopunks enthusiastically explaining their rights, while violently denying those same rights to others. No doubt this was "spontaneous." Think about those Islamothugs getting dressed that morning: "Let's see, got my wallet, got my keys, got my eggs."

After posting this, something began to roll around in my head. And it finally came to me: those Islamothugs in Dearborn were just like the racist thugs in Little Rock, over half a century ago. It was only after Ike sent in 1,000 paratroopers from the 101st Airborne that those people chilled out. Look back and remember.

Mayor Bloomberg doesn't want to run his SUV to keep it air-conditioned, yet he doesn't want to get into a hot car either....so they put a window air-conditioner on a wheeled cart, rolled it up to the SUV, opened a window, ran an extension cord, and air-condition the car that way, rather than keep it idling....much less pollution that way (a few more dribs of electricty on the grid don't change the generation capacity at all, compared to the SUV exhaust).

You cannot make stuff up that is this wacky!

Here's a post that is about to be misconstrued by a bunch of you. Let me first say that these kids are punks and deserve to be punished. Severely. But isn't that the type of behavior that she was hired to stop? If she can't stop it when directed at herself, how can we expect her to stop it when directed at someone else? Like a little kid? In fact, I would not be surprised at all to hear that these punks have been terrorizing other kids on that bus. And since kids keep going until they find the limits of the leash they are on, kept upping the bullying ante until we end up with this video. Don't get me wrong - she didn't deserve this and is probably a nice, sweet lady. But she doesn't seem to be qualified to be a bus monitor.

But what if this was the first time? Or if, instead of terrorizing granny, they brought guns or knives? What then? I mean, it's nice to think of what a Navy SEAL would have done (assuming there are kids dumb enough to get up into his face) but SEALS have other things to do. And so do most cops. I take your point. If the punks on that bus had been acting up on a regular basis, granny should have reported them. Maybe she did. If she did, she could have used some reinforcements. But those little pr*cks take the full load for this one, no matter how you slice it.

This p*isses me off. I get into a 100+ degree car in the summer. It cools off within a minute or two and this is a 2003 model compared to these far, far newer vehicles. I've lost all respect for this as*hole.

Looks like Barney Fife is alive and well in Houston.

After he achieved infamy for driving potential black customers away from his Pickrick restaurant with ax handles, Lester Maddox ultimately became governor of Georgia. In order to keep tourists heading to Florida through his state from being victimized, he put up billboards warning drivers of several well known speed traps. And just to make sure none of the locals got any bright ideas about knocking down the signs, he had state troopers posted underneath them.

In a week when the Supreme Court ruled that the First Amendment allows that a*shole to lie about being a Medal of Honor recipient, it's hard to see how any charge could be made to stick against this lady.

MTI's taking sexual advantage of trainees is strictly forbidden. And the AF will deal with it harshly. That Lt.Col. removed as commander of trainees? His career is over. Done. He'll be retiring as soon as the dust settles. As to the enlisteds who have been demoted and otherwise punished or who face courts martial, same thing. They'll never get another promotion, ever. The regulations are unambiguous: NO. And it matters not if any of the ladies involved may have initiated these "relationships" to make things easier.

I arrived at Lackland shortly after a scandal at Corrective Custody, the play jail where basics who needed attitude adjustment were sent. Some of the sergeants there abused some kids, handcuffing them, urinating on them and other humiliations. And the officers and the enlisteds involved came to regret the day they were born. As I say, I arrived as this mess was being wrapped up. And because I had some press-type credentials in my wallet (subject to inspection) my sergeants apparantly thought I was some sort of plant. For some odd reason, I was never assigned to any difficult details during basic.
