People are mad at the idea of bouncers carrying a gun. Uh, you don't know what the eff your patrons are or are not carrying. I'm fine with bouncers/security carrying guns, if they are properly trained, licensed, etc.

And this incident was at a bar that is not a problem bar, by all accounts.

Maybe people will quit ****ing with other people if they knew they were armed. I heard the guy killed left the bar to get the knife and came back. Don't forget that this a Star & Tribune article so it's all lefty loonies...If the bouncer were a cop, he'd be given an award.

Actually, the aftermath I heard on the news, not the Star Diaper. You can put up the "no firearms allowed" sign, but that doesn't mean people will abide by it, ya know?

Police believe Middletown educator Leslie Herneisey, 51, lied about tumors and cancer for more than a decade so she could skip work.

Herneisey began accruing sick leave by allegedly claiming she had a brain tumor, then asked for eight weeks off while she supposedly underwent chemotherapy for an inoperable form of brain cancer.

How about this one?

This woman reminds me of that old lady who sued a couple of teenaged girls 5 years ago now in Colorado when they cause the old woman "grievous pain and suffering as well as anguish" when they rang her doorbell at 10pm and ran away... leaving a plate of cookies in their wake. Here's the story.

It was ridiculous.

Sure, I don't think anyone should have to sit next to a screaming baby, but airlines cannot be held responsible to ensure that babies don't scream. And all the lying the woman did. It was settled out of court which, imo, would be a mistake if it wasn't for the fact that these trials come before juries, which, I have no faith in.

This was a frivolous lawsuit, imo. Quantas should have told her to go shove it up her backside.

a couple of kids go around smashing mailboxes and ringing people's doorbells in the middle of the night, well one guy chases the kids and catches one.

so what do that boy's parents do? sue of course. instead of prosecuting the kid for what he did, the dude who is getting harrassed get arrested for child endangerment and abuse because he was in his yard and not in his house.

awful.

what kind of LCD parent legitimately sues somebody because your kid trespassed and harrassed neighbors in the middle of the night? how about a little personal accountability, you piece of trash.

edit:

another article mentions the guy's middle initial. so i wonder if its him? i'm sure the ding dong ditcher will try for some money in a civil case next!

In the military, periodic performance reports are a joke. In the AF they have something called the AER which grades airmen on a scale of 1-9. On the final, overall mark, if an airman gets an 8 instead of a 9, that means he's a nazi spy, diddles little boys or has a room temperature IQ. I assume the same phenomenon obtains in the Army (possibly worse).

If this idiot was down graded because of poor performance, trust me, he's a major league f--k up.
