They profit by selling really racist stuff and Brent supports them, sounds about right.

I defend their right to do it too. I also defend people's rights to attack them or boycott them over it. Hell I think they are stupid to do it but that doesnt mean they dont have the right to do it.

How does that fit in with your trolling and generalizations? I cant wait to hear this...should rank up there with Old Pio telling me I am Anti-Semitic :D

I always love that canard. Literally no one has suggested that they should be arrested or face any regulatory action, yet here you are bravely defending their right. Bravo, you.

Nobody argued they don't have the right to sell it but it's not exactly shocking that you reflexively defend him for supporting the store that sells racist garbage.

Defend them for/from what? Of course they have a right to sell these items so what's in need of being defended?

I also have to call b.s. on the store manger's claims here:

The manager, Melissa Hollis, told Boussarhane that the store offers historical artifacts to people that its staff believe are not racist. She cited as an example that she once declined to sell an authentic KKK robe to a customer who wanted to leave racist propaganda in the store. “He wanted to pass out KKK literature and pamphlets, he told us that. We backed out. It didn’t matter how much money he was willing to give us. His money didn’t mean that much to us,” Hollis told the Pensacola News Journal.

Hollis and the owner of the store, Billy Boyette (whose Facebook profile picture shows a man waving a Confederate flag), are reportedly selling the KKK figurine for a third-party vendor with the store and collecting a percentage of the profit.

I am not reflexively defending him but I am agreeing with him. If I had found the article and posted it I would have put the same ****ed thing. It has nothing to do with Brent except the fact you trolled him needlessly as per usual. (you and dx have a weird obsession with him)

If you agreed with the premise of what he was saying why even comment?

That wasn't the only racist thing they were selling either (as I'm sure you read).
Boussarhane tells Yahoo Lifestyle that after speaking to Hollis, she left the store. However, she took photos of other items — framed images of a black boy depicted as a monkey, a man wearing blackface, and a vintage toothpaste ad that read, “Darkie toothpaste. Gets teeth their whitest!”

I've seen this stuff sold as kitsch -- the whole idea is how awful and retrograde the items are. I'm tired of irony, too, but I don't think we should be crowd-lynching it just because some people are too stupid to get it.

lol. ok. And you and fade have this bizarre obsession with defending him despite his obviously low-information positions and just general bad takes. Trix and I are hardly the only ones to call him out on his posts but somehow you've focused on us. Weird.

I get it but then put it in some museum or something that highlights our history and how racist and terrible things used to be. Rather than selling it for profit so some racist dude can put it in his man cave or something.

I'm pretty sure the people who buy this stuff are black hipsters. The Baltimore store where I saw most of the stuff like this was certainly catering to them. It was John Waters Heaven.

No I havent I also rip rufus and Bassale because half the time they dont even read his posts they just reflexively attack him. (Scooby too when he is doing his schtick) You need to do more research ;) (maybe make a chart :eek: )
