News story?
Or paid advertising?

Re: Nice Planet 14: You People Make Me Sick

It was a news story. The story itself wasnt the problem the problem was the took the ad in full and put it on the front page along with the story so it became a defacto advertisement. People were not happy.

Re: Nice Planet 14: You People Make Me Sick

I wish I could get read that article, but it’s drowned in ads. My god Newsweek has fallen a long way.

Re: Nice Planet 14: You People Make Me Sick

Self righteous conservatives will have to find a new child to symbolize why national health systems are bad, while continuing to support candidates in the US who want less people to have coverage and pay more for it

The thing is this same story happens in the US and probably around the world. We often involve our hospitals ethics team to help sort out discrepancies between medical teams and the medical decision makers. Same thing happens at any tertiary care facility because this is the "end of the line" as by definition, they should be able to handle nearly every condition. 99.9% of the time that process works and it does not hit the news. In the rare case it does, it is often full of misinformation once it is covered by the media.

I have been directly involved in cases that are covered by the media and I can tell you they are not represented accurately.

Re: Nice Planet 14: You People Make Me Sick

I think you’re drastically understating the success rate of the process

This story is awesome...well the outcome is the racist coffee shop part not so much!

He details the story in his book, which is a great book. Highly recommend reading it.

What if mookie wants to call and ask if they have Prince Albert in a can, what better way than by seeing the phone number in the paper?

Remember when people thought Trayvon was the thug who started the fight and deserved to die for attacking the concerned passive George Zimmerman?

Pretty sure that story kinda answers your question, mook.

I doubt this was the first brush by this fine upstanding conservative with the law.
