Re: Nice Planet 13: This Planet Sucks

Teen dies from drinking too much caffeine. Maybe it's time we stop marketing energy drinks to kids?

Meh. Consuming too much water within a certain period of time can kill a person too. Should water now become a restricted substance?

There's a point at which this stuff becomes absurd. A young woman in Britain a couple years ago died from drinking too much espresso in a single day. Bad coffee beans, or have people swipe their IDs so they can only purchase a preset limit on coffee in a given day?

If you've ever read the label of an energy drink, no one should be drinking them, but that doesn't mean we need to ban or age-restrict them.

Banning marketing and age-restricting is fine by me. You can be the Mommy State when you're dealing with kids. Kids are morons.

When I was a kid, I could have Coke/Pepsi products, but coffee was forbidden. It wasn't until I became an adult that I understood why.
