That's just because the NHL and NBC love the Penguins so much, they want them to play more games. :D

Viktor Stalberg isn't playing in this game because he whined about his power play time. I love that. #TeamFirst

Doc and Eddie were chatting about US goalies for the Olympics. Their three? Schneider, Howard, and Quick. Three Hockey East guys.

Quick is probably the starter by a long shot. Howard and Schneider will compete to open the bench door vs. wear a suit.

Is it too much to hope that Fleury rebounds next season, makes the team, gets named starter, and chokes in the medal round? :D

The Blackhawks forecheck was ferocious. The Wings looked tired.

John Gibson starts in net for the US against Russia in the Quarterfinals at the World Championships.

A reminder, Gibson is 19, plays in the OHL, and was the starter for the US at the World Juniors. He's now starting against Ovechkin and Kovalchuk.

A word to any of you up right now, put your TV on NBC Sports Network. USA - Russia Quarterfinal at the World Championships and the US is up 4-1 after 2 periods.
