No we don't. Gustafsson is coming over next year. He's the goalie of the future. Him, Kuemper and Harding should keep the Wild set pretty well. I do expect a goalie in the draft this year, though. I forget, is Backstrom's albatross of a contract up after this season, or next? Also, how many more years do we have Harding signed for?

I suppose. But don't want to count on Harding healthy, just in case. IMHO unless Backstrom takes a solid pay cut, he's gone.

Backstrom signed a 4 year extension in March of '09 and Harding is on until 2015.
 
I'd be the first to say that the Wild are fabulously interesting, but there is a thread not about them.

Habs have become classless now that they don't have the talent as in the past when they were the dynasty. Therrien's comments and behavior behind the bench incited his players to goon it up and that slapshot at the end at a Senators player takes the cake. I hope Ottawa takes this series now. The coach should be fined and suspended for this atrocious show on and off the ice. Not only did they lose the game badly, they lost the fights they started on the ice. How appropriate.

Great game in Toronto, starting with the National Anthems. I thought there was no way the singer was going to hit the high notes in "the rockets red glare" and "land of the free" but he did. Looks like about 100,000 people outside Maple Leaf Gardens aka Air Canada Center.

Wings already getting outworked. This series looks to be over ever since the Abdelkader hit.

Stevep, if you think a simple fist pump after singing the anthem is classless, I don't know what to tell you. He's been doing it for years, that's what he's known for. You're the only person I've seen call it classless. I guess everyone in boston who doesn't mind it either must be classless too? You must be a habs fan.

The Abby hit wasn't the turning point. With all the special teams the first two periods, someone was going to score a PP goal (didn't know who/when). After that quick goal, they killed the next four minutes to end the second, and then killed the next :20 to start the third.

The deflating point was Brunners turnover 10' in front of Jimmy Howard. Absolutely sucked the energy out of the building and the players.
