I hope the Canucks continue to blame Luongo, so they don't address what's actually wrong...

Henrik Sedin thinks he plays for Montreal apparently....

Oh, PPG for Couture...

Vancouver is so bad they're making Scott Gomez look good.

Beanie: SJ is just trying to make a point, VAN. They don't have to celebrate it.

Perhaps it's nothing new, but the NCAA is all over these playoffs so far. Pretty cool.

Re: NHL Playoffs 2013 - Walruses, Trolls and other assorted creatures.

Alain Vigneault might get fired before the series ends. :)

Re: NHL Playoffs 2013 - Walruses, Trolls and other assorted creatures.

SJ gets away with a penalty shot...

Who likes hockey and is a bit inebriated right now????

THIS GUY!

Re: NHL Playoffs 2013 - Walruses, Trolls and other assorted creatures.

Dear Vancouver,
Please retain Alain Vigneault as head coach for many many years.

Signed,
The Rest of the League

Dear Mr. Vigneault:
Please keep dropping the fluid, stylistic, fast-skating and great playmaking style that wins you lots of regular season games, just in time for the playoffs so you can try to play physical and have your team get out of position by taking runs at opponents. Especially make sure you play whichever goalie is doing worse. Enjoy another long offseason, but don't spend any of it thinking about why you would abandon what works in the regular season in time for the playoffs.

Signed,
The Rest of the League.

Re: NHL Playoffs 2013 - Walruses, Trolls and other assorted creatures.

Schneider let in back to back killer goals there to start the third...backbreakers. Not sure it would have made a difference anyway, but still. Tough spot for him coming off an injury, team already down 0-2 and heading on the road. Anyway, this is still the San Jose Sharks and Joe Thornton we're talking about. They will undoubtedly lose in the next round.

Paul MacLean is my new favorite coach. Hard for me to prove this, just a hunch I have...Michel Therien has to be one of the most disliked coaches across the league. After his team goons it up all over the ice, he has the audacity to call MacLean classless??? This after one of his captains called him a fat, bug eyed walrus? Too funny. That timeout was more than just. A giant F U to the entire Montreal organization. God knows, no organization deserves one more than they do.

re: Penguins-Islanders

Strait deserved a holding penalty, but Crosby still went down on his own. The long-standing question remains what do you do in that situation?
