Oh wat a beautiful game. We'll sweep the Penguins and then destroy whatever sacrificial lamb the West serves up. The Cup's coming home again! History will be made!

Re: NHL Playoffs 2013: Shut up, Pierre...

Nope.

Believe it or not Bruins fans, not everyone is out to slight Boston sports...

Oh please. No one thinks that. Knock it off. He basically says he chose Pittsburgh because he wanted the opportunity to play with the two best players. While I don't see anything wrong with that, it was sucky of him to make that decision after the deal was made to bring him here to Boston.

So, what are the North Pole and the Stanley Cup Finals going to have in common?

No Penguins.

Re: NHL Playoffs 2013: Shut up, Pierre...

I've been watching sports waaaaaay too long to call either series is over.

The Penguins introduce the goaltender for game three back in Boston.

Re: NHL Playoffs 2013: Shut up, Pierre...

Iginla most certainly chose pittsburgh over boston. A deal was reached with boston, it was widely reported. The bruins even offered a better package.

The only reason iginla is in pitt is...iginla. that's his right, I don't hold it against them. He even talked about crosby tampering with him at his press conference.

Re: NHL Playoffs 2013: Shut up, Pierre...

The Penguins would do better with a shooter tutor than with either of their goaltenders.

Please, don't jinx the hometown )) They won't lie down for the Bruins. Just win the next game first and give that sense of hopelessness to the Pens. Claude is definitely outcoaching his rival on the other side. The Pens board is crying for the coach to be cannned after the series is over for not making any adjustments.

Re: NHL Playoffs 2013: Shut up, Pierre...

Question of the day... can the Pens forwards learn to play D in one day between games?
Fun to watch though. Pens putting BIG hits on the B's all over the ice. B's have opportunities for big hits, but choose instead to pick the puck and go the other way. Burn.
FWIW... Ken Dryden in net would be down 2-0 with the way the Pens play D.

Sounds like the Pens are using the Capitals playbook.

Is it just me or is Cindy Crosby such a girl that a transvestite on hormone therapy pills can grow a better playoff beard than she can?

Actually, it was sucky for Feaster to tell Chiarelli there was a deal when there wasn't. And no, it was not a slight of Boston, though if the Bruins want to use it as motivation that's fine with me. And I'm guessing there will be some creative signs on Wednesday.

You're trying to reason with a Sioux fan. You can present all the evidence and direct quotes that you'd like. Even if they're indisputable, he'll still try to argue. Logic and reason have no place in a Susie boy's mind. :D

+1.

Though I'm much more nervous about Chicago getting whacked in LA than I am concerned about Boston getting whacked in Boston. it wouldn't surprise me to see Quick rebound and shut down the Hawks.
