NHL Playoffs 2013: Shut up, Pierre...

Re: NHL Playoffs 2013: Shut up, Pierre...

It really sucks losing the series after being up 3-1, however if I had been told in January that Detroit would make it to OT in game 7 of the conference semis, I would be thrilled. Most of us Wings fans weren't even sure we would make the playoffs, let alone take down the #2 seed and push the #1 to the very edge. The young depth positions got 14 games of invaluable playoff experience.

Although, I guess I'm cheering for arena collapses now. Or the Kings, I guess. Which means Pittsbarf and Chicago will advance.

I haven't dared venture over... has LGW.com gone nuclear yet?

Must spread, but your Wings gave the Hawks all they could handle.

I've always respected them. Let's meet in the SCF sometime, eh?

Re: NHL Playoffs 2013: Shut up, Pierre...

Yep, in the same boat regarding the Wings. After stumbling to make the playoffs, getting out of the first round was gravy. Definitely happy to have given the youth a taste of winning.

It's now fully baseball season for me.

To all you "right call" people. Barry Melrose agrees with you. Suck on that.

That would equal mucho ratings. I wouldn't mind it provided the Wings don't beat the Rangers to get to the finals.

Team with the brand new fanbase versus the team whose own local media thinks they are an NBA franchise.

Which one is which? :)

The Kings actually get pretty heavy coverage in the media out there, and that goes back to (at least) when I lived there in 03-04 as opposed to being a new phenomenon thanks to last season's title.

I mentioned on GPL, if and IF, the alleged goal didn't happen (he shot wide, the save was made).....how much noise would be made?

The defense rests.

You and Barry.

The NHL leading on SportsCenter? Did I get transported to the Big Show days? Can Olbermann say he puts the biscuit in the basket, please?

Wouldn't that be something? Two former Norris rivals now get to compete against each other for the Stanley Cup like in the Original Six days.

It was a hard fought, but well played series.

Shaw is just as big a toolbox as Morin though. :p ;) (I kid, I kid)

Re: NHL Playoffs 2013: Shut up, Pierre...

I haven't gone to the Hawks board on HF yet either.

I made the mistake of going in there during the third and the ledge jumpers made me turn around and leave.

What site is HF? (I'm a one board man. :) )

Re: NHL Playoffs 2013: Shut up, Pierre...

Have. Fun. Those guys are nuts. Checked them out once. That was enough.

Tis a silly place. Replace Camelot with HFBoards.
