Great time last night despite the outcome. Great Ranger fans around me and we talked frankly about both teams.

The new MSG was great I thought.

A goalie is going to have to steal the series against the pens. IF the bruins advance, I don't see rask up to the challenge sadly. Jimmy Howard seems to be the hottest tender in the league now so that is certainly a possibility.

I was going to ask how the renovated arena turned out. The last time I attended was just before they began the renovation.

I think they still have one more summer of work to do before it's completely done. Unless I'm a year off keeping track of it.

Pierre has really gotten on my nerves the last few seasons. I've never minded Eddie, but he isn't some kind of amazing color analyst, either.

Doc does a fantastic job, and his voice is the voice of hockey.

Olczyk tries to use his 'Hawks schtick with the national audience, but it just comes off as awful (Stop it right here, active stick, Google "Olczyk drinking game). He has a good comedic balance with Pat Foley, but it just isn't there with Doc.

Pierre, well, I'd write a check to NBC if they'd forget to plug his microphone in for the game.

Krug does it again.

Emrick is the best. I actually missed him a bit last game when he was sick. I also wish Gary Thorne would get back into the game, but he seems pretty happy with his Orioles job.

I've liked Dave Strader for a while. When I first started watching the Wings in the early-mid 80's he did the games.
