Wild season will end tonight. I ain't even mad. They're getting smoked by a team that is just simply too good. It will take a bad stroke of injury luck to beat CO in a 7 game series this year. Our Swedish duo couldn't even get us out of this one. losing to a team of shitheads like dallas sucks, losing to colorado is fine, because we're just flat out losing, not getting cheap shotted to the head, or serving time for yet another dive.
What I can be irritated on, is Matt Boldy and co. wasting Jesper's phenomenal performance. John Hynes literally saying in post-game that they made a conscious choice to not play the same way as game 3. Faber, Hughes and Wallstedt have been phenomenal this playoff season. I wonder if Boldy's head was rocked in that hit, because it was like he tried the same dump in play on the pp over and over and over and each fucking time he turned it over. Yurov has looked terrible and had some real dumb penalties after he got rocked with a hit.
our best center is never available in the playoffs, from injury. we aren't going to get a top center in a draft anytime soon. with the cap going up, everyone is going to sign their FAs, my god Charlie Coyle just got a ridic contract. they still may need to use wally in a trade, and i doubt he'll net someone big enough.
anyway, CO is likely to steamroll their way to the cup. sad that vegas or anaheim will make the WCF. Anaheim and Montreal are so fun to watch with the kids.
