NHL 2026: The Olympics Will Be Mammoth!

NJ fans coping harder than nucks, but seem 100% confident he'll be there in two years.

eh, luke and jack to MN seems better! in all honestly tho, jack has injury issues and i think faber/wallstedt/boldy/kap/ek/hughes is a better core than NJ right now

We’ll see. If he signs and we have him for seven years, great. If he doesn’t, hope the seemingly impossible happens to make it all worth it. If not Guerin probably follows him out the door.

My gut says this was the first sign of Billy going into win now mode and more is coming.

I am afraid we won't extend him too but look at colorado and dallas. the central is a buzzsaw, they aren't going anywhere, and we have to try and win with kap.

I thought we would trade for a C, but not sure anyone is available. you get a chance to get a generational superstar, you do it. I hope worst case is that we use him to get a C next year? Billy has balls, I'll say that. He'll either be a god or a crack addict when it's all said and done.

this franchise goes balls out for a totally chaotic move once a decade

Horrible trade if they don't win a Cup this year or next. They are more than Hughes away from winning a Cup, they lose a 1st and 2-potential future studs, have very little youthful talent waiting in the wings, and are going to be very cap limited.

The Stuart Skinner effect is already occurring in Pittsburgh, and he hasn't dressed yet. Blew a 5-1 3rd period lead to San Jose, finishing with something called a "John Klingberg" undressing Crosby for an OT GWG.
