NHL 2026: The Olympics Will Be Mammoth!

I expect nothing but the worst decisions from this league, so I'm not surprised the wild completely passed at all mentioning Alex Pretti during their two home games this week. Frost and Wolves did, of course.

Also, I love some karma. Red Wings fans (some of course, not a ton) were cheering when Jonas Brodin went down and was removed from Sweden's olympic roster, because they wanted Edvinsson to replace him. Well, turns out, now he's out through the olympics. teehee

I argued (elsewhere) that he truly wasn't quite ready - he's barely NHL ready. Moot point now.

Edvinsson will be a great player if he stays healthy, but he isn't ready for Olympic competition. Plus I would prefer all Wings sit out the Olympics and rest for three weeks.
