I get sitting Buium. He has literally played four NHL games, all in the playoffs, and all against one of the best teams in the NHL. He has made mistakes. In some instances, they've lead to goals.
But my goodness, Jon Merrill should not be allowed on the ice. Each time Hynes thinks about sending out the third D pair, I'd prefer that he just hold Merrill back, and let the team play 5x4 for about 45 seconds, before making the next line change. At least the other players on the ice would understand that they're playing shorthanded and not be tricked into thinking there is a fifth guy out there. What he was doing between the dots and the blue line, standing all alone, when that last goal was scored, is beyond me.
