Tom Wilson does it again. Missed a Tom Wilson hat trick (goal, assist, and a match penalty) by failing to get an assist.

@DamoSpin: Amazing but true: last night marked the first time Eric Staal had appeared on Hockey Night in Canada on a regular Saturday broadcast in his 15-year NHL career.

After the success of the fight in Boston leading to the comeback victory, the Wings apparently decided that tonight, down 1-0, it would be a great idea to go full gongshow on the bit against the Avs, and try to reignite a dead rivalry.

There will likely be suspensions coming out of this. Wheeeee.
