I hope Game 7 goes to OT. Because really, how awesome would that be??
I couldn't handle it. My wife has already told me if I have a heart attack and die watching these games she will absolutely kill me!

I'll be driving to Maine to attend my grandfather's funeral tomorrow night, so likely won't be able to watch a second of the game.

This year sucks.

So the World Series champion Red Sox were scheduled to play at 7:00 pm but changed to 4:00 pm so people could watch the Bruins play in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final. How does your city handle such scheduling conflicts when two champions are set to play at the same time?

It rarely happens, because we tend to sweep instead of going the full series. :D ;)

Boston sucks but that's an extremely cool (and smart) decision. Well done, Red Sox owners, and may all your fans and their families DIAF.

You don't think Western college hockey is professional sports?

Yes, we all know the Ivies and D3 play-up schools are the only ones whose players don't get paid, since scholarships are immoral. ;)

Scumbag Portnoy is on the cesspool that is Boston Sports Radio badmouthing St Louis for starting a site celebrating the Blues' win tonight and hawking Blues Stanley Cup gear. Oddly enough, all the merch links go to Portnoy's site. What a snake.

I lived in Boston during their laughable "golden age" of sports writing in the 80s (Shaunghnessy, McDonough, Ryan). It's always been the same garbage. It was always just bloviating, parochial, self-congratulatory emptiness with a large helping of Boston's bitter Irish second-city insecurity.

HA! I always thought of Bob Ryan as a solid writer despite his BC alum creds because he actually cared about the game he was covering. Will McDonaugh was a freakin' shill and Shaughnessy is a one note hack who lost even that when all the sports teams started winning. The Shill's son Sean is a very nice guy though. Always fun to catch him boozing it up at T's Pub on BU's campus with his bald head always covered with a hat of course. ;)

Good thing Binnington is on his game in the first 10 minutes or this thing could be 2-0 easily

I wonder if Boston's inability to cash one of these chances in is going to come back to haunt them later this evening.
