Primanti Bros is so grossly overrated, their signature sandwich is really bland. It's too bad that Punjabi boys didn't experience someplace tasty.

Agreed. Made it a point to go there during the frozen four a few years back. Lame. Immediately wished I had spent those couple hours doing anything else.

George Stroumboulopoulos won’t return as host of Hockey Night in Canada next season, sources tell the Star.

His replacement will be the man he replaced. Industry insiders say Ron MacLean is expected to return to the show’s No. 1 seat just two seasons after Stroumboulopoulos was hired with much fanfare in the wake of Rogers’ $5.2-billion acquisition of NHL broadcasting rights. Prior to that, MacLean occupied the job from 1986 until 2014.

IMO, an odd move by the Sabres, unless they know something that we don't. They could have signed him after August 15 without giving up anything. If Vesey were anxious to sign with them, why didn't the Sabres just wait? And if Vesey isn't anxious to sign with them, what makes them think they can change his mind before August 15?

Well, JV is playing with Jack Eichel in Cape Cod summer league, they share an agent, Buffalo has top 6 spot with his name on it. Agent did say that JV still intends on becoming a FA August 15, but why not take the chance. Buffalo had 4 third round picks, they chose to use one for a chance to get solo discussions with JV, who is likely ready to step right in.

I don't think so. The Leafs back end has some solid defenders. I think he'll take the #1 job from Bernier and provide better goaltending next season.

We long suffering fans hope so. :rolleyes:

It's done, Las Vegas has joined the National Hockey League. They join the Pacific Division in 2017-18.

The one good thing about the Rogers deal is we herein the US get the TSN crew for the draft. :)
