The Blackhawks are gonna be so so so good. Man.
Unfortunately for you this is the year the Wild win the playoff series. They outplayed the Hawks last year and now this year they have the talent and the depth to finish the job.Agreed.
Drop the puck!

Dude... I know it's coming, but this ain't the Blackhawks of the 90s. We'll see. I'm actually hoping to avoid the Wild this year though - just to be safe(r).
Trust me - as a Hawks fan dating back to the mid-80s, it's been hard to get away from jumping at shadows (due to the failures from 87-95). And the North Stars were right in the middle of the second most gut-wrenching of those failures.
Times change though and the Hawks were not engaged in last year's playoffs - essentially coasting until it was too late in the WCFs. They are hungry again now.

The Division is going to be nuts.
Colorado won it last year. I see them possibly being last.
Dallas is improved. No two ways about it.
The Wild finally have the depth and hopefully the scoring to win consistently.
The Blues and Hawks are both picked by many to win the Cup.
That's all in one division.
It's going to be sick.
A coworker asked me, a Stars fan, how Dallas was gonna do. I said "probably same place as last year."The Division is going to be nuts.

"Really? You guys signed Spezza and have Benn. You guys look good!"
"Yeah, and so does Chicago and St. Louis and Minnesota and Colorado..."
How many teams in the West are better than teams in the East?
Chicago, LA, St. Louis.. Anaheim, San Jose, Minnesota?
Not sure all of those are better than Boston. Chicago and LA probably are, but the gap is small. St. Louis may be a push.
There's no doubt though that the west has 7 or 8 of the top teams in the entire league.
Somebody has to win the Metropolitan, hence you're right.Yeah, but what's left out East after Boston? Nothing, pretty much.

What did Boston do to improve over the offseason? The Blues already won both games against the Bruins last season and have undoubtedly improved with the additions of Stastny and Lehtera.
