James Reimer was outstanding in goal as JVR and the Leafs hang on and beat TVR and the Hawks 3-2 at the ACC. Exciting Original Six hockey at its best.

The last 3 minutes looked like Game 7 of the Bruins series. This time the Maple Leaf prevailed.

Can somebody give Phaneuf a road map of the defensive zone? *** is he chasing a puck carrier up at the blue line?

Why the heck are the Hawks/Jets playing at 8pm tonight :confused:

Tempted to get tickets but I have to be at work at 6am tomorrow :( :mad: Granted that's probably why tickets are going for face value, but still....

Best I can do is NHL President Clarence Campbell. Don't know if he played.

Why do you ask? Is there something earlier in the thread that I missed?

It came from a discussion of names you'll never find in an occupation. Like Sparky in a gunpowder factory.

I was going to say that if somebody named Clarence started playing hockey seriously, he would start going by something like "Rocky" or "Slugger" sometime in youth hockey.

That was Dylan McIlrath playing the role of "last traffic cone back". I sure am glad the Rangers didn't draft Cam Fowler instead. :rolleyes:

At least Dylan isn't making $6M+ per season to be a traffic cone.

Wild fall asleep at the end of the period and give up a goal. They've been disjointed most of the first.
