Re: NHL 2015, Part II - Stanley Cup Playoff Race and Beyond

No way in hell I'm rooting for Anaheim...

I find it almost sacrilegious that a team from a place where it never gets below freezing in winter can win an ice hockey championship.

although, to be fair, I did cheer for the Jamaican bobsled team. Actually met them. When we lived in Wyoming, our town hosted them as they prepared for the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics, they were in the community rec center quite often working out.

There's a distinct gagging noise coming from DC - and it's not from a Congressman's hotel room.

Perry finishes off the flames. Ducks and Hawks in the West.

Perry took a pretty brutal looking hit in the 2nd, hyperextended his knee it appeared.

My kudos to Calgary--

:eek:preseason cellar dweller
:mad:fired coach in December

:)made playoffs (knocking out reigning champs, Kings)
:cool:beat higher seeded Canucks in Round 1
:DElite Eight

:(Flames doused by Mighty Ducks--who, simply put, were bigger and better, but
Flames #NeverQuit

Gotta catch up:

We'd like to thank the Minnesota Wild for participating in the 2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

We'd also like to thank the Calgary Flames for participating in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Ryan Callahan had his appendix removed last night and will not play in Game 6.

Nicely crafted, and I agree.

Montreal sure picked a bad day to stop playing hockey.

Make that 22 years since a team from Canada has won the Cup.
