They've had chances, but apparently couldn't hit water tonight if they fell out of a boat.

EODS will be happy... here comes Brian Elliott.

Too little too late.

I wasn't as happy with it as I was with the win, but it's always nice to see the Blues realize their mistake.

Not like it'll stop them from doing the same thing to him next year. It doesn't seem to matter that he's constantly their best performing goalie. If it's not Allen, it's Miller. If it's not Miller, it's Halak. The Blues are constantly in the search for a #2 to usurp Elliott. It's quite confusing.

I didn't want it to come at the expense of the Wild, but I'd love to see Elliott get that big moment to shine on the NHL since he was one of my favorite Badgers. It's even more painful to see St Louis have him ride the pine inexplicably than it is to watch Pavelski languish in that putrid franchise in the bay.

Especially confusing that they signed elliott to a multi year extension after miller crapped out in playoffs last year.

Elliott would look good on a team outside playoffs that needs goaltending

You gotta love a skilled, humorous organ player.

Jeremy Boyer (@JABsMusic) is a treasure. If you all remember, the Blues were toying with the idea of dumping the organ early in the season, but the fanbase wouldn't have it. He's great, and the pull of I Wanna Be Sedated matched the feelings of all Blues fans watching that game yesterday.

Also, fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck. Dubnyk better keep this **** up for the Hawks series.

If regulation and overtime wins are the first tiebreaker, why does the Caps shootout win count as much as the Isles OT win as far as the next tiebreaker, head-to-head action? If the NHL wants to use the shootout to determine a "winner" for every game, own the dam n thing. All wins should be equal. And if they are not, then shouldn't the same rule apply to all tiebreakers? The Isles should be the home team for this game by the NHLs own logic.
