Fu**.

Five minutes away from being up 3-1.

Re: NHL 2015, Part II - Stanley Cup Playoff Race and Beyond

That is one large kick in the junk for the wings

Re: NHL 2015, Part II - Stanley Cup Playoff Race and Beyond

Well, when you have a nice scrum at the blue line with 7 minutes or so to go, and then play the last 7 minutes with your dick in your hand, thinking you've won it, that's what happens.

Yep. The couple of rushes just before they scored the two quick ones it definitely seemed like the Wings were just coasting.

For tonight, the Preds are my only hope of savaging a good hockey night.

Nice comeback by the Bolts. Now I need Da Flame to eliminate the hated Canucks.

Re: NHL 2015, Part II - Stanley Cup Playoff Race and Beyond

Next time Versteeg should save time and just put the puck in his own net.

Växjö Lakers are Swedish Champions, defeating Skellefteå AIK 4 games to 2. The first five games were won by the away team, but Växjö managed to close it out at home 3-2 in 2ot after being down 0-2 at the 2nd intermission. Rhett Rakhshani (Denver) had 12 points in the playoffs, Jeff Tambellini had 13, including the game-tying goal in game 6. Nick Johnson (Dartmouth) has the 2nd assist on the championship goal and nine points in the playoffs, Cory Murphy (Colgate) also had 9. Noah Welch (Harvard) had 6 playoff points. Every Lakers player received a sweet mirror-gold helmet:

Made the right choice and went to play hockey last night instead of staying home to watch.

When I left home, Detroit was up 2-0 with about 6-7 minutes to go and I was thinking, "They just keep finding ways to win, year after year after year..."

Walked into the locker room and Tampa is scoring the OT winner - -someone was streaming it on their phone.

What the heck happened?

should have waited a couple more minutes, you would have seen the game turn on a dime.

I was just shocked. Figured the guys in the locker room were watching the Hawks game and was surprised to hear that it was the Wings game.

It happens... unfortunately.

Imagine being a Packers fan.

Wait...

OK

Sitting in a hotel in Saddle River, NJ.

No YES
No WPIX
No NBCSN
No CNBC
No MSG

So, I can't watch the Yankees v Mets, can't watch Penguins v Rangers, can't watch Wild v Blues.

Thank heaven for the internet. I can get the NHL games and NESN for the Sox/Orioles.

Why would anyone stay in their hotel room in New Jersey, so much to do :)
