Thankfully Detroit is not named the Dragons, otherwise we'd be watching the Double D's.

So, this is my first ever time at JLA. What a barn. Yes, it's outdated and the new rink will be a blessing, but everybody is on top of the ice, even the uppers aren't far from the ice.

Detroit looks much better in their home rink.

Yeah, they've managed to hold it together pretty well with toothpicks, dried beer, and octopus slime for 36 years. :D

Wings need to stay out of the box.

Pro tip: use the upstairs bathrooms on the concourse. Much shorter lines than the usual restrooms.

Ya, that's really the only negative so far.

Having Abby back is such a significant improvement across the board. Lines much more balanced and Babs can match lines much easier.

And I absolutely love the sight lines at JLA. No bad seats anywhere where I have sat. Love how close to the ice all the seats are.

Rinne searching for that puck was hilarious.

The only bad seats are in the "press box", which was built as an afterthought!

Can't tell if it was cold by her seat...
